The aim of this intake process is for the homeopath to perceive the inner state of the patient through the use of many open-ended and judgment-free questions, encouraging the patient to describe their exact experience of the illness or discomfort in progressively greater clarity, depth, and detail.

Understanding this state leads the homeopathy to the correct single prescription and the patient’s journey toward healing.

Up to 45 minutes

After the first prescription, the patient returns for regular appointments so that the homeopath may determine the response to the remedy and decide what to do next. These visits are scheduled once every 4-6 weeks—more frequently at first and less so as treatment progresses.

Up to 30 minutes

Acute disease is characterized by the symptoms having a rapid onset. These symptoms are fairly intense and resolve in a short period of time.  Some common acute diseases include, but are not limited to; colds, flu,

fever, childhood illnesses, ear aches, most headaches, sudden diarrhea, cuts and bruises, most burns, most infectious disease.
